I have to pretty much agree with what most other people have said. When the trimmer works, it works great, but it dies way too quickly. I had one that only lasted about three weeks. I wouldn't ever bother changing the battery because that's never the problem. It's great that it's so cheap, but the manufacturer should charge a little more and spend the money on better parts. If you're sick and tired of replacing the trimmer when it dies, just buy one that's rechargeable or use the trimmer on an electric razor.
This product continues to be lauded in ads as the end all, be all of personal trimmers. I have had several before that I would trade this product for in a minute. This product is very unhandy and can be painful to use. Very disappointed after all the hype...........
I recently bought my second one after having my first one for ten years. Works quite well and removes all that bothersome ear hair.
As everyone has said, this product is cheaply made. Unfortunately I have not been able to find a better made product that does what this product does.
I had the old version which was much weaker and always got stuck, but it still lasted me a year until I dropped it. Just got this one a few weeks ago and so far it seems much better.
Works great for nose hair, ear hair, and it's the best product I've tried for trimming your privates. Very Gentle. That's all I really use it for. I have a big trimmer for the rest.
I just ordered a couple extra's because I noticed they stopped carrying them at the wal-mart I usually go to, and I don't want to be stuck without one when mine fails.
Complete junk - dead out of the pack.
Didn't look like it would actually work, anyway. Flimsy design, flimsy head, plastic innards, flimsy on-off switch, etc.
According to the instructions, you have to include $6 to send it back 'under warranty', plus shipping costs = more than it costs...obviously, the warranty is a joke, and this company cares nothing about it's customers.
More China made junk which could only be sold with TV infomercials. They probably have more money in the colorful packaging than in the actual product.
Buy a $10-15 trimmer from a real company, and it'll last for years.

I just received my MicroTouch groomer. The reason I ordered it was because I have acne around my chin and above my top lip. Shaving with ordinary razors or big electric ones just irritated it more and was very painfull afterwards. MicroTouch groomer is excellent if you have acne but you still need to shave where the pimples are!!! Hopefully you will put this on your page for other people to see and experience having a close shave without the excrutiating pain afterwards from the acne. It works GREAT!!!! I am very very pleased. THANKS!!!
The only thing the Microtouch Trimmer Groomer has managed to trim since purchase was the money from my account used to purchase the thing. Spend your money wisely, and look elsewhere!
Plus: This is the best nose hair trimmer I've ever used. It gets everything very quickly, with others I had to go over and over the same areas to get it all.
Minus: It stopped working after about a year. I replaced the battery but it still didn't run.
Overall, I'd say that *IF* these things last a year on average, I'll just buy a new one every year, because it's worth ten bucks a year to me to have a really effective trimmer. Still, it's disappointing--they could raise the price five bucks and put better-quality parts into it so it wouldn't fail after a year.
On/off switch was broken when I bought it so I never even got to see how good/bad the product really is. It comes with only a 60 day warranty which requires you to pay the shipping. Not worth your time or money.
