My aunt sent me this cologne once for christmas. Personally, I like softer scents so I usually wear Davidoff Cool Water or Nautica Voyage. However, sometimes when I feel like a change, I will wear the Energise. While I do get compliments from girls on the Davidoff and Nautica, they just go crazy over the Energise. I have had three girls tell me this (not to brag or anything). So now I still use all three, but I use the Davidoff and Nautica for daily use and keep the Energise for special occasions. Definitely worth the buy, girls love it.


I'm actually wearing this scent today as I write this so I can tell you with some authority that it really gives your well dressed look the perfect aura. Another grown up choice.


GREAT SCENT, NEVER GET TIRED OF IT. IT'S NOT TOO STRONG OR HEAVY, JUST RIGHT.


Couldn't find this anywhere anymore near my hometown. Found it on Amazon for about $20 less than what I used to pay in stores (and still no shipping charges; also arrived in less than a week)...


My girlfriend got this for me and it is great. The scent is young but not "high school". It starts out as strongly citrus and dies down to a longer lasting musk with citrus notes. Reallycool and not as popular as the other Hugo scents so you can feel like you are wearing something different. Don't spray too much or too quickly before an event becasue the initial sprays are strong...allow it time to breath on you. Well worth it. The girls love it.

Its a great product. I am using this almost 3 years now.. I am not able to change from this..


I own an entire shelf full of fine cologne (sad, I know), and there are three brand names that have never dissapointed me once- Versace, Georgio Armani, and Hugo Boss. Baldessarini is in the upper echelon of cologne, yet costs about 50-70% as much as anything made by the other two. So if you want something that's going to make women come up to you and say "mmmm, what are you wearing" but don't want to spend $75/bottle, Baldessarini is a great bang for your buck.


I gave this to my 28 yr. old son for Christmas and it has quickly become his favorite cologne. I bought it after reading several of the reviews on Amazon and selected it based on all the favorable comments. Couldn't have been more pleased with the whole transaction. Easy ordering, quick delivery, and good packaging make online purchasing an attractive alternative to shopping at the Mall. Baldessarini by Hugo Boss is a must have for the man with discriminating taste. Very distinctive and enduring fragrance. I would recommend this to anyone wanting to make a statement. You won't be disappointed.


My favorites are Hugo Baldessarini, Gucci Envy and Gucci Rush and Hugo Boss. I have tried others such as CK Eternity, Lacoste, Giorgio Armani Acqua di Gio, Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male, Estee Lauder Pleasure, Polo etc. But my problem has been either the smell is too strong in the first spray or the smell somehow changes after the first spray. But not with those four. Boss is great for summer, the other three are great for the rest of the season or in the evening. Baldessarini has been my personal favorite lately. The smell is subtle and last long.


I hate the current trend of making men's cologne smell unisex. A man should smell like a MAN! After numerous product samples at a department store with my husband, we landed on this. It smells AWESOME! Very masculine. Lots of sandalwood and a hint of musk. No one could mistake this scent for a women's product. LOVE IT!

Boss Selection By Hugo Boss For Men. Eau De Toilette Spray 3 oz

Launched by the design house of Hugo boss.

This fragrance is great. Very basic but elegant. It did not last but half a day. I suppose the one I bougth here at amazon store it's original.
No further comments.


This is my favorite of Hugo Boss. It's similar to Prada for men. It does last quite a while if you spray it correctly. This fragrance really lingers! I'll smell it after work constantly. I can't explain, it must just be this particular scent because none of my others have had the same effect. It's nothing like a citrus, just a nice fresh scent. I'd always recommend searching Amazon for "cologne vials" though. It's best to try it for yourself. Boss Selection is available in a sample vial.


I have always been a big fan of Hugo Boss colognes.
This one is very good.
It starts out odd, but turns out to be great.
Some say it's generic, but I think it's unique and fresh.
Good product.


I love this product!

I first purchased it on a cruise ship tax free.

A year later, when looking for more, some stores weren't carrying it.
I work in Chicago and Hugo Boss has its own store... but every where I looked, it was top price, plus tax.

Searching online Amazon was sooooo much cheaper... no tax (I believe) and free shipping. Even the shipping which said it may not be shipped for more than a week and then the days it would take enroute... The bottle was in my hands in 3 days when I got home from work.

Way to go Amazon!


It's a very contrasting fragrance. It's fresh, at the same time masculine. It freshness is ideal for hot weather and has a great fixing on the skin, lasting the whole day. It's very noticeable by women and compliments tends to flow whenever you're using it.

One of the best fragrance for men that you can find. As good as regular hugo boss. But only if you like more sweet smells. Similar to C.H. 212 for men.


My Girlfriend had gotten me this cologne while she was in Europe and i had never been a big fan of cologne. I am now.

A scent is hard to describe but I'll do my best. Its sweet smelling but at the same time has a lighter smell. Either way You need to smell this for yourself it's amazing.

The bottle design is very trendy looking and many people had to ask what it was.

All in all i'm a very big fan of this scent.

Since getting this i have become i big fan of Hugo Boss

I am very satisfied with this purchase. A great product for a great price,and what is better, It didn't take much to get to me!


It is excellent. I bought it as a present for my husband and he simply loved it..... since the day i have bought it almost everyday he wears Hugoboss and evryday asks me to get another one saying i love it....


This smell reminds me of a bright sunny Autumn day in the mountains with a cool breeze and all the different colors of the trees.
Thats what it smells like!


Ive had this fragrance several times before. I love it, and everyone that comes in contact with me seems to love it as well (especially the ladies). the only downside is it doesn't seem to last more than a few hours.

I highly recommend this product. It's smells good and stands out from a lot of products out there. It was shipped promptly an recevied in good condition.


I really like how this smells on my boyfriend. He has been using this fragrance (and a couple of others) for years, he really likes it too.


Got this for my husband for Christmas. We both love it! Smells amazing on him.


I've been all over when it comes to colognes. Ranging from the regular Hugo Boss, Calvin Klein, Tommy, and various Avon types that my Mother has gotten as demo's and/or very cheap being a rep. Each of the above brands I have tried varying types from each and many more that I cannot name at the moment.

Anyways, to the thoughts on the actual product... It has a very pleasant that reminds me a lot of cinnamon. I can best describe its power by using this analogy, say you spray a very heavy dose of 5 sprays. Now with other colognes your going to be asked to leave the room, with this cologne its more potent but not as offensive. For example, say someone lights 5 candles vs spraying 5 cans of aerosol air freshener.

If your looking for something that everyone in your office will know what your wearing when you pull into the parking lot then this isn't your fragrance. If on the other want it to be noticeable when you sit down by the people beside you then this is your fragrance. I would consider this a much sweeter and milder version of the regular Hugo by Hugo Boss that is so popular. Another similar but slightly spicier smelling cologne you may wish to consider if you like this is Lacoste Pour Homme By Lacoste. Another favorite of mine in my picky collection.

My girlfriend has informed me that one must mix up my 'odor' occasionally to keep things fresh.

My original scent started with "Hugo by Hugo Boss".
For the next odor, I went to a very smelly store and ended up picking "Boss Selection by Hugo Boss" which I didn't really like, but was better than the alternative...staying in the store longer.

For my 3rd odor, I didn't want the fumes from the smell store to eat away my brains so I sent my girlfriend, she brought back a few samples and the one I picked was, surprise "Boss By Hugo Boss".

Besides the retarded naming scheme, I find the Hugo Boss of cologne olfactorily pleasing.
