I first became aware of this scent while shopping in an upscale major department store. I was thrown back at the price but I thought why not splurge, I am worth it. When it was time to get a replacement I thought I know I am worth it but the price made me think twice. I thought go to Amazon, I have gotten many deals there and hot damn there it was and GUESS what? I could buy TWO for almost the original price I paid for one. The scent is a clean fresh earthy scent for those that are wondering. You don't need alot but your partner will enjoy being around you. HaHa Do yourself a favor check with Amazon before going shopping for your everyday needs, you will be glad you did. No, I don't work for Amazon, just a satisfied customer.


This is one of the best colognes out. Though it has been around for a while it is timeless. This is the cologne you will be with for life. It is masculine, yet sexy the ladies love it. I personally wear this one when there is a lady whose eye I want to catch. The key to this one is it can be worn by anyone. No style refused on this one old or young this will bring the ladies oh yeah giggity giggity. Step your game up without breaking the bank. best worn in the evening; dress wear or casual wear

Great scent for the price. Good to wear for work not my favorite going out colgne but good for everyday use. Long lasting good scent.


Went strictly with amazonian reviews... Last time I will do that again with colognes. really should have visited the mall or dealer to smell it first hand. I used to own Burberry Touch, which I really liked for a spring cologne but wanted something a little bit more long lasting. I gave this a shot and I was not only disappointed but it gave me headaches every time i used it. I know some cheap colognes do that to me, but I wasn't expecting this from burberry. The bottle quality sub par and the smell over the top! not sure if it was the spice used but in a closed door meeting at work I noticed that I started to have the headache and also noticed people inching away from the strong smell. And this is just from one spray to the chest under my shirt. I probably would put it up on craigslist for 10$.


This perfum has 2 things I look for on perfumes: personality and elegance.

If you're a dude with a strong character and born with elegance, then grab the box and get this perfum!

I'm using it for special occasions, very important meetings and going out to dinner with my girl...


I bought this cologne based on the previous reviews. I must say...the reviews were spot on! It's a great scent that lingers, but does not over power. I would suggest every man have this in their stockpile.


I bought this fragrance for my uncle, but now I want it (and I'm a woman). When I tried it, it lingered all day. A great scent.


I wear burberry because its the best. When people ask what I'm wearing I just smile and say its a secret. I want this scent all to myself!

Great scent that creates a conversation. People always ask the person I bought this fragrance for what he is wearing.


This is one of my favorite fragrances. It's very light and crisp, and perfect for the summer. Unlike many colognes, it is not overbearing or too strong. The subtly is definitely a strong point. Great for wear everyday.


I bought this without sampling it based on my taste for Burberry, Burberry Brit, and Burberry Summer. This cologne is in a whole different league then those. It'd definitely clean and fresh smelling, but it definitely has a floral scent overall. I was surprised since the other burberry's would be hard to be mistaken for anything but a male fragrance. I think this could almost be a unisex fragrance.


I still enjoy it though. Definitely save it for the summer time though. I can't pull it off in the winter as I'm too burly of a man at 6'4 to be wearing this with my carthart coat in the winter.


subtle, natural - tones of citrus, wood, juniper, herbal - like the outdoors. not overpowering, too sweet or perfumey, as some men's fragrances tend to run. "week end" has overtaken "aqua di gio" as my favorite. best scent por homme i've run across in years.


The scent was kinda musty, didn't smell like anything that pleasant. I prefer "fresher" smelling colognes, not ones that people may think you are wearing day-old clothes.

Tried this at an airport perfume place and leaves me an impression. When it comes down to buying it, I forgot it was the female perfume I tried or the male cologne, but consider the price of this one is cheaper, I bought it. It is not a disappointment but definitely could be better. It has very clean smell, kind of like Light Blue but without the fruity scent. Also has the same problem as Light Blue, it doesn't last long. Over all, it's a four stars, I would recommend to people and maybe try The Beat for Men next time.


the beat has replaced my all time favorite burberry london. smells fresh & clean. has a light "baby powdery" scent that lasts all day. i'm addicted :-P

First, believe it or not, a little background:

Back in the mid '70s, someone was trying to get me to sell a "health food" popular at the time. I did a little research and found that at the time anyway, health food had the highest markup of anything on the market except "cosmetics." And I think this product would fall into that category.

In my younger days, I used witch hazel as aftershave. It worked as an astringent, didn't cost me an arm and a leg. Then, while dealing with the public, someone suggested quality cologne. I used a few different kinds, paying a lot for it. But this is the first one that people actually noticed!

What else can one say about it? People notice it, and remember you for the scent??

What's more, it was much less expensive here on Amazon.com than the same thing would have been at a department store.

Yep, this stuff's the best.


I purchased this cologne for my hubby for Valentine's Day. I didn't want to pay the $60+ it is for this size at Sephora and most department stores. I was so happy to find it on Amazon.com for half the price! It arrived in perfect condition and super fast - received within 3 days of ordering with free super saver shipping! It was boxed and shrink-wrapped as if I had bought it at the store! My hubby loves the cologne and also appreciated the $ I saved! He smells delicious! Thanks Amazon and Burberry!

this cologne is by far the sexiest cologne for men. it's very understated which makes it even more sexy. ladies.... i highly recommend this for your men.


First impressions were a bit sweet for my tastes. However, the scent does grow on you, and now I prefer this to my other choices. Give it time to develop...there are subtle changes over the hours while wearing. Pleasant and mature.


Cologne is obviously a matter of personal taste. This particular scent I feel is very professional and not overly distasteful and overwhelming.

Wear it for that first date or business meeting.


I was looking for a different scent other than the famous ones like Black, Armani, BLV, Hugo which I have used before. This certainly has a spicy and a masculine scent and is good for party / night wear. Used it a couple of times and already received compliments. My girlfriend loves it too :)


Without a doubt, this is the best smelling scent for men around. Clean, crisp, never heavy and perfumy smelling.


This is a nice cologne. The previous reviews about the scent are correct, the most noteworthy being the fact that you should use it sparingly. After all the other scents have faded (which is within about 5 minutes of putting it on), you're basically left with a musk - which isn't overpowering, but definitely noticeable and lingering - and a little hint of vetiver/sandalwood.

As stated in the title, this cologne seems to be suited for those in their mid 30's and older and for more formal situations, which is the only reason I took a few stars off. I like more flexibility in a fragrance.

All in all, a good cologne, though.


If your dog hasn't had a bath lately and you want him to smell more like dog then dump a bottle of this stuf on him/her/it. Other reviews stated that there was a pepper fragrance. There was. It will make your dog, and you, smell like you were given a full dose of pepper spray and did not bother to wash it off or could not wash it off.

Sorry, but I bought this for myself and for a gift shipped directly to my son. I want my money back as well as the feeling I had before becoming such a sucker.

I am not exactly a cologne expert, but then Im not total a newbie either. "London" has a slight mucky flavor, with a hint of spices, especially tobacco. Overall, a very subtle and nice cologne. Well worth the price. I have a reasonably large collection of Armanis and Polos but ever since I have got the Burberrys, I just find myself to be reaching out for these!


I think this is one of the most wonderful scents a man can wear for himself. As the scent wears on through the day different aromas come forth and smell amazing. I find it funny when people say they can't smell it after a few hours, and that's typical with any type of cologne...you become use to the smell and don't realize it's part of you. So try a sample at your local dept. store and see if you like it, then if you are amazed like I was, then this is the best place to buy. I love Amazon and there prices!!!


This smells so good. I bought my boyfriend this for Valentine's Day and I loved the price, at like $20 something it was a steal. I bought I think it was the black before, or atleast the plaid was black. But I like this one much better. It's so spicy, it's like a dessert and it smells incredibly delicious. This is a definite must have for men.


This really an excellent cologne for men. The price that I paid for this cologne is less than 50% of what my local department store was asking. My wife loves this cologne. My only complaint is that it does not seem to last very long. After about 4 - 5 hours the cologne is gone and needs to be refreshed. Unlike my Givenchy PI which still lingers after 12 - 14 hours. I suspect this cologne does not have as much essential oils in it. Still, this is a really nice cologne.


Yes, first of all... this product is the real thing (not sure why one of the reviewers said otherwise). I bought a smaller version of this cologne at a shop for 43.00- was thrilled with the price here! Such a great deal! The scent is very sexy and my husband loves it. Better yet... I love it! I am a fan of the Burberry series of fragrances; with Touch being my favorite one. This London is very nice though and comes in second. It is heavy so you have to watch how much you use. Only a little is needed, and this will last for hours. It is also very sweet, which am into, but many will find it too sweet.

I purchased this product based on a chance opportunity to have tested it in a department store. With a great price and free shipping through Prime I jumped on the chance to add this to my collection. I agree with another reviewer that the first scent tone that jumps out is one that is reminiscent of the original Polo. After that the pepper and woodsy scent appear. I love the scent, personally, and began wearing it the minute it arrived. Maybe I got a bottle that was different than others, but when I wear it the scent wears off after an hour. Have not received one comment on this scent when I wear it (which is unusual) because it is not detectable after about an hour. Big disappointment, but I'll keep it. Would like to try the Brit version of Burberry next. Only hoping it has more staying power.


Very unique scent, pleasant and not overwhelming. Blends well with lotions and shampoo's, so you do not have a cacophony of various scents mixing into something unenjoyable.


Given to me by an English friend of mine. I absolutely love this scent. I've worn Chrome and Kenneth Cole Black in the past, but have not liked them as much as this one. It smells like the classic green bottle Polo when you first open the bottle. Then, when the scent dries, it changes to a rather warm and woodsy smell that gets many compliments. A little goes a long way. Their aftershave emulsion is also a great product when paired with the cologne.
