I have tried different insoles by other brands; they are good to a certain degree. However, with Superfeet GREEN it feels really comfortable. Plus its shock absorption is much better than I expected when I received the product. I have already recommended many friends to buy this one. They all feel very good with this insole on, too.
These were a little uncomfortable at first..., but within two hours I forgot I had them in my shoes EXCEPT for the fact that my arches were not causing me pain anymore. I never used to have problems wearing flat shoes (in my youth.) Now as I near 50 years of age, I can't seem to find a shoe that doesn't pain me. It finally occured to me that the problem is my feet and not the shoes. I thought to try these out first before buying the more expensive orthotics. These solved my problem within the first couple of hours.
Fit perfectly, mold well to feet within hours,and once I wear them in my Rockports, I want to wear no other shoes.
After a number of treatments for plantar fasciitis (wrapping foot with tape, using the boot at night, all sort of insoles from the drugstore...) that proved ineffective, a doctor mentioned Superfeet. I began improving quite quickly, and they are now in all my shoes. [The only time I've had a bit of p.f. recurrence has been when I get careless and don't use the insoles (e.g., go barefoot, use sandals) for a while.] If you have been struggling with plantar fasciitis, you may definitely want to give these a try.
I took a chance on these from the recommendation of a friend. They seem a bit pricey for insoles, but I knew it was the right choice when I climbed Mt. Fuji and had no discomfort at all. Since that time, I've literally backpacked around the world in these. I felt like I could walk forever, even with my heavy backpack. They are amazing.
For about a year I had horrible pain in my heels after any inactivity. When I woke up in the morning, I looked like a 70 year old (I am 35). I finally got around to seeing a doctor, who told me I had bone spurs in my heels and plantar fascitis, and he recommended these inserts. They feel weird at first (borderline uncomfortable). But after a day or two you get used to them. I noticed a difference right away. By the third day, the pain was almost non-existent. Mind you, I wasn't wearing cheap shoes, I spent most of my time in $120 running shoes from well-respected brands like Saucony, Asics, and Brooks. You lose a bit of the cushioning when you pull out the original inserts and throw these in, but it is well worth it in the long run. From now on, I am buying a pair of these for every shoe I buy.
Eight years ago I was waiting tables and limping after taking my shoes off at the end of the day. I was hesitant to spend over $30 on inserts for shoes that only cost $35 , but gave it a shot. They are worth every penny. If your feet hurt at the end of the day you need to try these. I rarely give 5 star reviews, but these are great. I now work on the railroad and still use Superfeet. Without them I limp after taking my boots off, with them I am pain free. Yes, they are expensive, yes, you should buy them.
The Superfeet Insoles work great. They help take the stress off of my knees. I'm pleased with the service and the product.
I picked up these insoles when I developed plantar fasciitis. These have really helped. Different from every other insole I have used in the past. They provide lots of support and are not very heavy. They are not for runners looking for a lot of extra cushioning. I would buy these again.
I had been trying to get back into running on a regular basis after taking about a year long hiatus. I bought a new pair of running shoes and attempted to become a runner again, but my knees wouldn't let me. I saw a sports doctor about the pain I was experiencing in my knees when running. He diagnosed me with iliotibial syndrome and recommended multiple things to me, one of them being to purchase some superfeet. The pain in my knees immediately begain to go away after using superfeet. The arch support they offered was particularly beneficial to me being that I have normal to high arches. I determined that was my problem before- poor arch support. If you have low arches or more flat feet you'll probably want to go with the blue superfeet instead, because the arches on these green feet are firm and high and they'll dig in to your mid soles. My only complaint is that I think they could be a little cheaper ($35 in the store), being that it's just some foam and plastic. However, it's still worth the price to align your feet and relieve your body. Thumbs up.
