My skin is naturally so pale you need sunglasses to look at me in the summer...haha...and am VERY slow to tan, with light color at best. I have Lupus, and need to avoid being burned (at any cost, as a sunburn can make me sick for a month), so I decided this year to build up a base tan (very very slowly) at the local tanning salon. I bought this lotion, the 50x Millennium "Paint it Black", and the Designer Skin "Paramour". I rotated them back and forth, and the days that I used the "Black" by Designer Skin (this product reviewed) I could see a definite color difference. The silicone base makes my skin feel awesome all day long (even after a shower) and my color is more "brown" than "gold". I have decided to use up the other lotions, and then stick with only the "Black", because it really is better.
I tan in UVB level 2 beds most of the time, with a week or so of UVA thrown in every month. Using the UVA bed, I am definitely browner, but it's not bad in the UVB with this product. My color is so deep now (after just one month) that my husband asked me to slow down because I'm getting TOO dark hahaha...That's NEVER happened before.
I'm so happy that there is a product on the market now that will lift the color in even those of us that couldn't get it before.
This product retails at the tanning salon for 110 dollars. I have seen it online for anywhere from 36 to 46 from Amazon and EBay sellers. Compare prices (and shipping) before you buy, but definitely get this lotion if you are like me and need that extra boost.

I tan a few times a week for a skin issue (psoriasis) and I love the smell of the Black 20x bronzer and how smooth it leaves my skin afterwards. The only problem is that my place charges $105.00 for the 13.5 ounce bottle. I love my skin, just not that much. I had trouble dishing out $10.58 for the 0.2oz packet for an occasional use, let alone $105.00 for a bottle. I could not even begin to explain how excited I was to find it on Amazon at a much cheaper price! Very quick transaction, was to my door in mere days and I have been a happier tanner since.

Ordered this product over 2 weekes ago, and it is now a few days past the date range in which I was e-mailed for the delivery of the item I had purchased. I was given a 4 day window for when I should recieve the item and not it is 3 days past.
I am in a position where I get to try an unreal amount of lotions :)
This lotion is by far my favorite. I get extremely good color using this lotion and love that it does not leave that dreaded after tan sunless odor on my skin like many other lotions do. It goes on smoothly and my skin feels silky afterwards. This may sound odd, but my skin feels like it is healthy after using this lotion. I highly recommend it.
